Louro is a white wine from Valdeorras developed by Rafael Palacios. This wine is a blend of Godello (92%) and Treixadura (8%).

The vineyards from which the grapes come are arranged in small plots, located in deep terraced hillsides in the Bibei Valley. The soils are granite, with a low yield but an optimal quality.
The selection of clusters is done in the plot is first and on the selection table afterwards. The alcoholic fermentation occurs in French oak vats of 300 litres and 500 litre barrels where Louro is aged in contact with its lees for a period of four months.
 
Louro is an excellent white wine that stands out for its great value.

Rafael Palacios is the son of D. Jose Palacios Remondo (founder of Bodegas Palacios Remondo) and a passion for making white wines. After making his first target in the family winery, Plácet, decides to create his own winery in Galicia, in the Valley Bibei under the name of Valdeorras, where he finds some old vines godello, ideal for preparing its white refined which grows recovering traditional viticulture, without use of herbicides or synthetic treatments.
