Incredible Spanish wine with great structure; amazing power and mid-palate weight from 92% Tempranillo, 6% Graciano, 2% Garnacha. Bodegas Roda is completely new to New Zealand this year, 2023, and is also a fabulously modern expression of traditional Spanish grape varieties which express themselves in bold red fruit flavours with the support structure of firm smooth tannins, spicy complex aromas and depth.

Roda I Reserva is a wine made with Tempranillo from vines over 30 years old, fermented in wooden vats. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% are new barrels and the rest are wine barrels. Once clarifiedwith egg white, the wine rests for a minimum of 20 months in the bottle. Numbered bottles.
